In the modern training centre in Bingen, Deutsche Plasser offers a practice-orientated instruction and further training programme specially for the operation and maintenance of Plasser & Theurer machines. The objective of the programmes is a more cost-efficient utilisation of the machines whilst raising the quality of work at the same time.

The new training centre in Bingen on Rhine represents a further step towards higher service quality and therefore higher availability of the machines. A practically orientated programme offering instruction and further training, specially developed for machines built by Plasser & Theurer, contributes to a further improvement of the machines' potential in future. This helps to achieve a more cost-efficient utilisation of the track machines while at the same time raising the quality of the work performed.

In the newly furnished rooms of the station Bingen on Rhine, the following equipment is available in two classrooms, a practice room and a teaching track: instructional charts (display panels), simulators: CMS (computer measuring system), CWS (computer work system), ALC (automatic guiding computer), CAL (curve laser system) and DAR (data recorder).

The training courses, which are structured in modular units, also make use of functional descriptions and system displays, Power Point presentations, wiring diagrams, operating instructions, service manuals, working instructions and cutaway models.
